Responsive search ads rewritten to Excellent

Copy and assets

To improve a client's Google Ads results, I rewrote their responsive search ads, mixing Google's suggestions with my own copy: 15 distinct headlines built on the keywords people search for, new descriptions and more sitelinks. Ad Strength went up to Excellent.

Ad Strength scores how varied and relevant the assets are, not how the ad performs, so I use it as a quality check on the copy and judge the ads on conversions.

What to look for
  1. Ad strength: Excellent, the highest rating.
  2. All five of Google's suggestions are done.
  3. Headlines: 15 out of 15 used.

About

I'm a digital marketer from France, based in Paris. Most of my recent work is in Google Ads: checking the tracking, restructuring accounts, writing ads and reporting on what changed.

Before that I spent two years in B2B marketing and sales, so when I look at a campaign I also want to know what happened to the lead after the click.

I also co-organised conventions and webinars by handling logistics and promotion.
